What I’m doing now
2026: The Year of Foundations (Universal Year 1)
Station: Dubai, UAE Status: Dynamic circuit
In numerology, 2026 reduces to 1, marking the beginning of a new nine-year cycle. For me, it is a year for laying foundations.
The Master Reset is almost over. Build mode is on.
My work is strategy-first, AI-native, and interdependent. I am building the infrastructure, institutions, and intellectual property that can hold the next phase.
Where I am
I am in Dubai, just back from Almaty, Kazakhstan, from 6 to 11 August. Kazakhstan was my 51st country and a different experience from my usual European stops. Better weather too.
Next station: London.
What I am building
Digital infrastructure
I now run much of my backend through ChatGPT’s Codex. The work includes consolidating email, forwarding domains, and moving sites away from legacy hosting to GitHub Pages and Cloudflare.
I rebuilt The UV Almanac at utpalmv.com from scratch with Astro and Cloudflare. The WordPress dependency is gone, the redirects have been recreated, and PageSpeed scores are above 90 across the site. The work also produced a reusable Astro foundation for future Almanac-style builds.
New homes are live for EightQor, Upsquare, and uv.bio. I also rebuilt the open-source layer of Startup Culture Code.
The EightQor ecosystem
I am going deeper into healthcare. What began as one healthtech company is becoming several initiatives within the EightQor umbrella.
EightQor Capital has closed its third deal, a strategic alliance. Obedien, The Compliance Cursor, is being built with India’s DPDP Act as its first focus. The identity is complete, the v1 app is built, and launch planning continues.
ANABLR
ANABLR is a business operating system for incubators, accelerators, and venture studios. It brings applications, mentor sessions, funding and grants, programs, compliance, and reporting into one workspace, giving operators more time for the founders they support.
The ANABLR website is live, and the application is being deployed.
Kill BUSYness and the frameworks
I launched the Kill BUSYness series, my perspective on the movement I co-lead with Manoj Onkar. I wrote the KNOLt framework, refined MSDx, and returned to my earlier work on Scrum in When Scrum Mattered to examine how it shaped who I am today.
In private alpha
I am building a system for learning through lenses and questions. It is close to how I have learned and worked over the years: approach a question from several perspectives, identify what matters in context, and turn the answer into action.
The system is in private alpha, with production planned for early September. Its public name is still to be decided.
AI Actions Lab
AI Actions Lab runs every Friday at House of Starts, Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad, in partnership with eChai. It is an open-hours format for founders and operators moving from AI curiosity to AI execution.
You can walk in without an appointment. I am not always there, but my high-agency team is.
Social Venture Builder
I am developing the early architecture for a dedicated social enterprise builder for Indian founders.
What I am writing and studying
The UV Almanac
The UV Almanac is live in its rebuilt form. It is a body of source-backed work rather than a conventional blog. It holds frameworks developed over the past 15 years, including MSDx, 5P, Sovereign Strategy, and now KNOLt.
The new #DhandheKaFunda section adds a practical AI prompt to each entry so the reader can take the idea into their own AI system and work with it.
Current study
I am reading The Three-Box Solution: A Strategy for Leading Innovation by Vijay Govindarajan.
I am also returning to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. I knew them at a surface level, but a more conscious reading is giving me new insights. I am developing my own take on them in the Patanjali Yoga Sutras series.
Availability
I process email twice daily. Meetings are by institutional invitation only. If it does not strengthen the architecture, I am not available for it.
AI Actions Lab remains open every Friday at House of Starts in Ahmedabad. No appointment is needed.
This month’s #DhandheKaFunda
First class or economy, the same man arrives. Comfort that depends on the cabin is not comfort. It is a dependency.

Every entry in the #DhandheKaFunda section includes a prompt you can use directly with your own AI system. That is how AI-first experiences get built: one usable prompt at a time.
This page reflects my current focus.

About this page: I first discovered the /now page through Leo Babauta while I was reading Zen Habits regularly. That led me to Derek Sivers, who created the /now page as a public declaration of current priorities and encouraged a movement around it. I am grateful to Leo for leading me to the practice, and to Derek for creating and sharing it.
