From the Architect, August 6, 2025
I keep meeting two versions of the same founder. Same idea. Same market. Same starting line. What separates them is not talent. It is what they built first: a fire, or a blueprint.
1. Two founders, one idea
Imagine two founders building the same AI journaling app for mental clarity.
2. The campfire founder
The first ships a working prototype in five days using generative AI. They use vibe coding to build just enough to test the concept, not to impress anyone.
Before the first month closes, the app has three daily users, one paying customer, and one honest testimonial.
3. The cathedral founder
The second maps a twelve-month roadmap. They wait for funding, design sprints, and full team alignment before writing a line of code.
They are still refining the perfect specification document.
[Architect's note] One played with sparks. The other waited for blueprints. Only one of them knows anything real about the market yet.
4. What created the advantage
The Campfire Founder used generative AI at every stage: to ideate, code, test, and iterate.
Vibe coding turned the idea into real user flows before a long specification could become a substitute for learning. An LLM produced the onboarding copy, emails, and demo scripts in an afternoon. User feedback decided the next feature instead of a Figma board deciding it in advance.
5. What this era actually requires
Not twelve features. Not a fancy AI pipeline. Not pixel-perfect design.
Five real users. One honest insight. The willingness to ship before it is ready.
6. The standing instruction
Stop building cathedrals before you have evidence. Light the smallest campfire that can attract a real user, and use AI to shorten the distance between idea and feedback.
#DhandheKaFunda: Better comes from faster feedback. AI shortens the loop.
